Merry Christmas and here's to a new year!!

Ok, so I got out of blogging for a few months. SHAME ON ME. Now that my guilt is over with, let's move on. ;) I've made a new looking/color blog to start fresh. :)

The kids have been in preschool for 3 months already (see school pic taken in early Dec) and Max is having his own issues already. Mostly security issues. He hangs onto the teachers all the time. Granted there's only one other boy in the class and 10 other girls (which includes his sister). And being this year there are boy/girl competitions going on between M & Em more then ever before. Emily has finally come into her own and is all GIRL. The dresses, makeup, purses etc. Max tries to be a boy, but still wants to do what Emily does. Poor guy. We just take it one day at a time.

They are also in karate one day a week. They go Mondays from 2:30-3pm. It's only a class of 8 kids and they LOVE it. Especially Max. It's only for 3-4 yr olds, so they are actually one of the oldest kids there. I will be moving them to the older class (which has like 20+ kids in it) in the new year. Not sure how Max will do, but we'll see. (Again, security issues.)

The kids had a great Halloween (really went trick or treating for the first time around our new neighborhood!), had a great Thanksgiving (but still wouldn't try the turkey) and an even more amazing Christmas! They are really getting into holidays now and starting to understand. They got a butt load of toys from everyone and of course leave it up to mom to organize it. :P But it's all good. They were afraid of the 'mall' Santa this year and wanted NOTHING to do with him. But we went to their karate class open house and Santa was there and they had NO problem with him. YAY!! So I got my picture and did a little photo editing and WA LA! A FREE photo that looks almost like it was taken at the mall! ;) (Just disregard Max holding onto my dad's hand! LOL) Yes, I know I'm weird.

Other news... Max lost his first bottom front baby tooth on November 29th, in the evening while we were brushing his teeth. It had been loose for a week prior, but when I went to brush I did it a tad too hard and it popped out! His new tooth is almost all the way in already (and only a month later)!! He got two gold dollars from the tooth fairy along with a note & certificate. Emily got a note as well that magic dust was sprinkled on her teeth and they would be loose very soon. Poor Emily was quite jealous of Max's tooth and all the attention. I'm sure it'll be a different story once it happens to her. LOL Time will tell. Max was first to teethe at almost 6 months and Emily didn't teethe til she was almost 8 months. We'll see how far LOOSING teeth is...

Anyway, that's my lame update for now. The new year is upon us and my family came to celebrate Christmas with us, so I have to get back to entertaining them. I can't believe the year is almost gone. And now to look forward to a new year. And my twins turning FIVE. I don't know if I'm ready. It just has gone too fast... Hopefully I will be good about posting a little more in the new year. Maybe, JUST MAYBE, I'll make this blog public in 2007 and that will make me post more... ;)
