I started bleeding Sunday 11/7. It wasn't much and it seemed to stop. I had some spotting, but not much. Nonetheless I called my doc and came in first thing Monday morning. He checked for the heartbeat and couldn't find one. Then did an internal and sent me to the u/s room. Sure enough, the u/s proved the baby to not have any heartbeat at all. :( Somehow the baby just stopped growing around 12 weeks. I don't know how or why, but I guess that's always the question.
I felt like something just wasn't right. I wasn't growing like I should've been for being pregnant previously. It was that gut instinct I didn't listen too. Hubby and I are very sad about all this. I had a D&C on Wednesday and the baby was baptized at the hospital. I think that helped let me make peace with it. Now we just wait for the genetic testing to come back to see if anything we did was wrong.
